Thank’s to some very well informed bloggers, and of course good ol’ mother internet, I heard about the meteor shower happening over the next few days. Tomorrow is apparently going to be the best day, any time between 12:30 and 3 a.m.

I went out tonight anyways to see if I could catch any and, lucky me, I saw 10. We weren’t out very long but at about 1:20 they started coming down. The first one was huge, it looked like someone had painted a stroke of white right across the sky. It was so bright the streak of light even lingered behind it for a few seconds. I couldn’t catch any with my camera, but I did get a few really cool shots of the stars.

Hopefully it’s clear enough tomorrow to head out again and get some better pictures :)
